I believe in Good Creative, creative for good; - Our raison d'être as creatives is to communicate. We have the power to shift mindsets, to convey messages and encourage others.
Communication, through words and pictures is storytelling - a skill as old and innate as language and mark-making. But now this type of storytelling has consequences. We have the power at our fingertips to convince and persuade, to cajole and inspire, to shift mindsets and change perceptions. For good or bad. We can increase profit margins or we could increase charitable donations, we can erode self belief or empower inner strength. We can grow market share, or grow support for a movement. We can entertain and educate.
The world is on fire, but the tide is turning. I am excited to be a part of a positive future where the tide is turning with a conscientious generation of forward-drivers, influencers and consumers. Where it's not just cool, but in fact lucrative to think sustainably and affect positive environmental change - both socially and ecologically.
We need to be rich. Rich in ideas, enjoyment, depth of work, knowledge, creativity and influence.
