What I do and what I’ve done
With 20 years’ experience in the creative industry, most recently 3.5 years at Futerra, I have worked both within brands and across a wide variety of agencies. From global consumer brand communications to crafting start-up strategy; I bring my depth and breadth of experience from across the creative spectrum to produce engaging work that turns heads and changes perceptions. I know the importance of creating a coherent identity backed up by strong brand values, relatable campaigns, film, digital interaction, customer journeys, social communication and product marketing.
I have sat on the D&AD judging panel for the New Blood Awards, and had the honour of speaking about positive impact in the creative industry for their Masterclass course.
Creative without emotional engagement is invisible, design without purpose is wallpaper. Let’s turn heads, ruffle feathers and break some eggs, (nothing against birds). I enjoy the thrill of sticking my head above the parapet. This I combine with strong brand values and robust strategy, to create compelling creative that shouts identity and personality, rather than blending in with generic similarity. I am inspired by those who provoke to initiate dialogue, but still have their tongue in their cheek - the creative punks.

What I can do for you
Small brands: - Having been a small business owner, and enjoyed nurturing many start-ups, I have a great understanding of building a strategy from the starting block. From Market identification, the importance of a coherent brand identity, through to digital interaction, customer journey, social communication and product marketing.
Big Creative: - I have also had the privilege to have worked in a diverse range of in-house environments, with established brands and agencies. This has given me experience in team leadership, pitches, product development and running with campaigns that communicate brand values as well as innovative concepts. I am a people person and love to interact with clients to bring together an understanding of the creative and design direction.
Third Sector: - I care. I care about solving problems with design; using it to present information, to encourage, shock, or stimulate conversation. I have a passion to use my skills and acquired knowledge to help and make a difference.
